Zippered Purse sewing pattern

This lovely bag is fully lined with interfacing and pretty cotton prints or solids of your choice, while the exterior for these example bags is in outdoor canvas. Using an outdoor fabric is a great idea for a bag you’ll use in Winter or wet weathers, and its hardwearing too. Of course you can use any suitable fabric of your choice paired with the appropriate interfacing. A pretty cotton print would be beautiful.
You can wear this Zippered Purse on your shoulder or carry it in your hand. It’s perfect for daily use, not too big, not too small. I have one similar that I bought a couple of years back, (I know, how could I do such a thing!) and I use it all the time for evenings out. Just right to carry over my shoulder and tuck the bag under my arm.

Sizing info:
When you have made one of these awesome Zippered Purses for yourself it will measure approximately 12″ long by 6″ tall by 4″ wide. The strap length is 15.5″ which you can of course make longer or shorter if you like.
