Spring Blooms Tote Bag FREE sewing pattern
|Here’s a FREE sewing pattern we know you will love for the Spring Blooms Tote Bag.
This tote bag has a lovely curved shape at the top so it will fit absolutely perfectly and comfortably under your arm. It’s made with wool and quilting cotton, but you can substitute the wool for any fabric of your choice. Vinyl would of course look great too.
The Spring Blooms Tote Bag is ideal for that small piece of favorite fabric that you’ve still got in your fabric stash. It would look just great as the feature fabric for this bag. The contrast piping also really helps to make the feature fabric stand out!
The generous and accomplished designer, Vicky Myers Creations, has made this bag with a button closure but if you want you could use a magnetic snap. Or you could even create a recessed zipper top – here’s a great tutorial and video for how you can add a recessed zipper closure to any bag pattern.
This lovely tote bag also has a slip pocket and some great-looking leather straps.
