Yuletide Stocking sewing pattern
You know that we only ever share bag sewing patterns, but we think with the holiday and gift-giving season on the way, it makes total sense to share a ‘bag’ you can use to give or deliver your holiday gifts. And who doesn’t love to get a Christmas Stocking!
The Yuletide Stocking is a simple and festive stocking design with several cuff and toe shapes. This stocking is beautiful in any fabric, including velvet, brocade, home decor cotton, or quilting cotton. Use piping, embroidery, or other embellishments to create custom, beautiful stockings for your whole family. This sewing pattern is suitable for a confident beginner. There are instructions for making the stocking with or without the cuff. (We think these would look gorgeous with a faux fur cuff too.)
This listing now includes both the original Yuletide pattern as well as the pattern add-on with four other sizes.
The dimensions of the medium size Yuletide Stockings:
- Length = 18” (45.7 cm)
- Width at the cuff = 8” (20.3 cm)
- Width at the toe = 11.5” (29.2 cm)
- Length while hanging = 22” (56 cm).
Materials required
- Exterior fabric and interior fabric
- Fusible Fleece interfacing
- Lightweight woven fusible interfacing
- Optional piping and other embellishments
When you purchase the pdf pattern there are two files included, one with the instructions and original medium-size pattern, and one with the four other sizes. Pattern instructions are given in both inches and centimeters and can be printed on Letter or A4 paper.
