Quick and easy Mini Bags FREE sewing pattern
This FREE pattern and tutorial from this designer have been designed so that you have sufficient materials to make two Mini Bags. These mini crossbody bags are quick and easy to make, have plenty of pockets and when finished will measure approximately 8″ by 10″ by 2″. They close with a magnetic snap at the top, and there are no zippers to sew. Because you are cutting and sewing two together, you’ll have these both done in super-quick time.
You can keep one bag yourself and give the other as a present to a friend or family member. The bags perfectly co-ordinate with each other, so they make wonderful ‘mom and me’ bags, or for two sisters, two friends etc.
What you will need to make the Mini Bags:-
- Two 1 yard pieces of quilting cotton,
- Two ¼ yard pieces of quilting cotton,
- 3⁄8 yard of fusible fleece (Pellon 987F),
- 1 ½ yard of Decor Bond 809 interfacing,
- Coordinating thread,
- Two sets Magnetic snaps (¾” diameter),
- Basic sewing supplies,
- Sewing machine.
