Oasis and Mini Oasis Backpack sewing pattern + video
The Oasis is the perfect pattern for Back-to-School bags or traveling through airports! This bag comes in two sizes, the larger Oasis was designed for the designer’s 6’4″ teenager to carry his books and laptop to school. The Mini Oasis was requested by his younger brother because he has to have everything like his big brother, just in a smaller size of course! The designer made a Mini for herself to use as a laptop bag for work. This Oasis Backpack in two sizes is ideal for every family member.
The exterior has a front hidden zipper pocket and rear vertical zip pocket for your mobile devices. Inside you will find a device sleeve and zipper pocket, as well as, the keyminder, of course. Plenty of room to add additional slip pockets if you wish, the designers testers have some examples of these in the Inspiration pages of the file.
This makes a great gift for all your school-age kiddos. What is better than a one-of-a-kind backpack to use everyday?
This pattern is suitable for either domestic or industrial machines, and all types of fabrics. You just need to be mindful of what your machine can handle and keep any interfacing out of the seam allowances.
Sizing info:
- Finished dimensions of the Oasis are 18″ high by 11½” wide by 5″ deep.
- Finished dimensions of the Mini Oasis are 15½” high by 10″ wide by 4″ deep.
