Marilyn Trifold Wallet pattern
|Everyone needs a wallet to carry their coins, cards, notes, ID and pen and perhaps you think having a trifold wallet is the best kind of wallet to have. This one has space for it all.
This awesome designer has made a fantastic compact trifold wallet pattern named the Marilyn Trifold Wallet, which has the following features:
- It has 10 card slots
- One clear ID pocket
- Two slip pockets
- One pen pocket
- And an exterior zippered coin pocket.
This is an intermediate pattern, in that it requires accurate cutting and sewing. You should be comfortable inserting zippers and sewing accurate seam allowances as this project is small, and attention to detail is important for the final product.
When you have finished making the Marilyn Trifold Wallet it will measure approximately 7″ wide by 4½” tall when closed (12″ when opened).
What you will need to make the Marilyn Trifold Wallet
- One fat quarter for the main fabric
- ¼ yard of fabric for the card slots
- One fat quarter for any additional accent fabrics
- 1-yard of SF101 interfacing
- ¼ yard of fusible fleece
- One 6″ bag zipper
- One twist lock/magnetic snap
- A piece of 14 or 16 gauge vinyl 4″ by 3″
- ¼ yard of single sided fusible Peltex (the owner uses F71)
- One card stock sheet to make a card template
- Basic sewing supplies
- A sewing machine.
