Margo Satchel Handbag sewing pattern
The Margo Satchel Handbag is an elegant top flap satchel with a belted side panel detail.
It’s been designed with a detachable strap in addition to two wide top handles. It’s a roomy bag with an interior zipper pocket to keep your belongings secure. The top flap closes by twist lock which can easily be substituted with a magnetic snap.
The Margo has been designed to be made in faux leather or fabric.

- 1½ yards of External Fabric,
- 1 yard of Lining Fabric,
- 1 yard of Interfacing,
- One 9 inch zipper,
- One twist lock (a magnetic snap can be substituted),
- Rivets (optional),
- Rivet Tool and Hammer (optional),
- One leather hole punch (optional),
- 10-15 alligator or paper clips,
- Glue Gun and Glue (optional),
- Matching thread,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
