If you have just started out in sewing then The KELLY Small Wallet PDF pattern is the perfect beginner tutorial. There are comprehensive instructions together with lots of photos to help you make a great small wallet.
The wallet is unisex so can be used by women or men, and if you like them enough you can give them as gifts or even make some to sell. The finished size is approximately 3.5″ wide by 4.25″ high. There is space for cards (six card slots) and a big slip pocket for notes and receipts, and an optional key ring or you can add a wrist strap.
What you need to make the KELLY Small Wallet:
- Up to three different quilting cotton fabrics,
- Medium woven fusible interfacing – ShapeFlex SF101,
- Lightweight batting or Fusible fleece (2mm),
- 809 Decor Bond,
- One ½” swivel hook,
- One Kam snap or another closing device of your choice,
- Kam snap pliers or another device to use with your closure,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- Erasable marking pen – we love the Frixion pens,
- Sewing machine.
