Keep It Close Card Holder sewing pattern
|
Here’s the Keep It Close Card Holder mini wallet sewing pattern. This cardholder possesses a clear ID Window on the front side and two card slots on the backside. In the middle is a slip pocket for extra credit cards, identification, paper money, coupons, receipts, etc.
It’s everything you need in a simple wallet. This project is a great scrap buster for using up smaller pieces of leather, cork or vinyl. It can be sewn in a single fabric, or mix and match your smaller scraps for a more colourful result.
This design is suitable for men and women. Black leather is masculine enough to fulfil the interests of lots of male customers, while metallic leathers are attractive to lots of female customers.

The pattern also includes a second version which replaces the central slip pocket with a zipper pocket so the mini wallet can hold coins too.
Materials needed:
There is a wide variety of different materials you may use for this pattern. You may use cork, leather, marine vinyl, Kraf-tex, felt, and more!

- One fat quarter of leather/cork (or some other non-fraying material),
- A scrap piece of clear vinyl,

This PDF pattern has no printable pattern pieces in order to save paper. You just have to simply measure and cut. The pattern comes with a bonus tutorial hack to implement a zipper for coin storage.
