- Outer fabric: a piece of at least 50 cm by 70 cm (19.6” by 27.5”),
- Lining fabric: a piece of at least 50 cm by 70 cm (19.6” by 27.5”),
- Interfacing: Medium weight interfacing – I used Vlieseline ® S-320, 83 g/m: a piece of at least 50 cm by 70 cm (19.6” by 27.5”). If you are using a sturdier fabric, such as home decor fabric, for the external body that you may not need interfacing,
- Matching thread.

With this bag pattern, you can create an elegant and unique handbag or a project bag/knitting bag with a gusset.
Material Needed:
- Outer fabric: a piece of at least 100 cm by 100 cm (40” by 40”),
- Lining fabric: a piece of at least 100 cm by 100 cm (40” by 40”),
- [Optional] Interfacing – similar to Vlieseline ® S-320, 83 g/m: a piece of at least 100 cm by 100 cm (40” by 40”),
- Matching zipper minimum size: 18 cm (7”),
- Matching thread.
