Vera Slouch Bag sewing pattern
|The Vera Slouch Bag pattern allows you to make this beautiful everyday purse. Just a simple but classic outline, a magnetic snap closure, a single strap for your shoulder, large pockets – everything you need for the everyday casual purse.
Vera has the following features:-
- an interior zipper pocket
- an interior slip pocket
- exterior pockets
- a removable strap
- optional leather strap instructions
When finished Vera is approximately 11″ wide by 11″ tall by 4″ deep. Team a vibrant print with a solid, or mix and match fabrics, with a cork, vinyl or heavier weight fabric on the bottom of the bag and for the strap to make this more hardwearing if it will be your everyday bag.
Please note, this is a MEASURE AND CUT PATTERN meaning all pattern pieces are cut using cutting mat, rotary cutter, and ruler. No templates are needed to make this bag. So if you sometimes struggle to print out patterns to the right scale, or you get fed up with taping pieces of paper together when it’s just a square or rectangular pattern piece, then this pattern is ideal. We recommend a good quilting ruler and rotary cutter and then cutting pattern pieces based on dimensions only will be quick and simple.
