Svetlana Sotak made this lovely pouch, especially for her own large fabric scissors. Isn’t it a great idea. A wonderful way to hide your precious fabric scissors away from prying eyes so that the kids aren’t tempted to cut paper with them, and the other half doesn’t grab them for stripping wire (don’t ask us about that!)

Sizing info:
When finished the pouch measures approximately 10” wide by 5” tall. Just right for a standard pair of scissors.

Light to mid-weight quilting fabric is recommended for both the exterior and the lining of the pouch.

What you will need to make this Scissors Storage Pouch:–

• One fat quarter of fabric for the exterior,
• One fat quarter of fabric for the lining,
• A 15″ square piece of cotton batting,
• A 15″ square piece of medium weight fusible interfacing (the designer used SF 101),
• A piece of 2″ long ribbon for the tab,
• One 9″ zipper,
• Basic sewing supplies,
• A sewing machine.
