The Urban Messenger/Daddy Diaper bag is a versatile pattern that offers options to make the perfect Men’s everyday messenger bag or turn it into the ideal Daddy diaper bag. The pattern includes 10 pocket options allowing you to completely personalize the bag to suit any man.
The 10 pocket options include:-
- an easy access cargo pocket for frequently used accessories that you need to keep within easy reach
- a small zipper pocket on the flap for keys or other small items
- a zippered pocket under the flap for extra security
- a slip pocket under the flap for added storage.
- two pockets on the bag for quick access items
- optional bottle or side slip pockets.
- interior pockets can be made as expandable elastic pockets for everything daddy needs to carry for baby or designed to be slip pockets for a laptop, tablet, books and so much more.
The finished bag will be 17″ wide by 14 1/2″ tall by 5 1/2″ deep.

- Decor or Quilting Cotton Weight Main Fabric
- Quilting cotton weight Lining Fabric
- Fusible Pellon Shapeflex SF101
- Fusible Fleece
- Coordinating Webbing
- Three Zippers
- Two Metal rectangles, O rings or D rings

- One Magnetic Snap
- One Parachute Buckle
- Elastic- for optional Elastic Pockets.
- Coordinating thread
- Removable Fabric Marker (we love the Frixion pen)
- Microtex (Sharp) Needle 80/12 -Recommended for topstitching through the thicker parts.
- Sewing Machine and basic sewing supplies.
