Trigon Envelope Case free sewing pattern

These instructions will help you create your own beautiful envelope case. The basic version of this envelope is a quick no-sew pattern, ideal for using your fabric scraps. If you wish to have the envelope lined, then sewing is required.

This pattern is available in two shapes. The first with a classic envelope look, the second is slightly shorter and with rounded edges. Standard size cards fit in both.

This envelope is a practical case for business cards, payment and other cards, but it can also be used as an original gift package for vouchers, tickets, money, store gift cards etc.

A suitable fabric is leatherette, vinyl, cork, felt, or other non-fray fabric. It’s a great scrap-friendly pattern for those smaller leftovers.

Skill level:
The pattern is suitable for beginners and for most domestic sewing machines.

Sizing info:
The finished envelope size (width by height):
10 cm by 7.5 cm or 10 cm by 6 cm (4″ by 3″ or 4″ by 2.4″).
