This is a quick sewing project where you can easily sew one of these, or even two if you’re quick, in under one hour.
This cute basket is the perfect size for binding clips, mini charm packs, or any other small notions you want to collect in your sewing room. And these make a fabulous little gift basket for tiny presents.
Besides using these in your sewing room you can also use them to hold jewelry, crayons, office supplies, party favors, candy, clothespins, makeup, recipe cards, small toys – just about anything!
When you have finished making your very own Pixie Basket it will measure approximately 2″ by 3″ by 4½”.
What’s needed to make a Pixie Basket:
- Fabric for the exterior main fabric,
- Fabric for the exterior accent fabric,
- Fabric for the basket lining,
- Batting for the exterior interfacing,
- Muslin for the lining interfacing,
- Twill tape for the basket handles,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
