This excellent sewing pattern from the designer Sew Can Do makes a super versatile bag that offers lots of options when it comes to use and fabric. We adore the look of those shaped pockets on the outside of the bag.
The Peeking Pocket Tote Bag has curved outside pockets on either side which offer great places to store all sorts of stuff and allow for two fabric prints to be on show at once. In this example, the prints although different, were quite similar, and really don’t show off this awesome design at its best. Perhaps use one solid and one printed fabric to really show off the design.
As a result, this handy tote bag can carry lots and these special pockets make it easy to access everything.
If you need more of a bag than a purse then this one is just perfect because it looks prettier than your typical tote bag.
What you will need to make the Peeking Pocket Tote Bag:-
- 1-yard of main bag fabric,
- 1/2 a yard of peeking fabric,
- 1-yard of fusible fleece or medium batting,
- A rotary cutter,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
