Ribbon Clutch FREE sewing tutorial
This is the Ribbon Clutch FREE sewing tutorial from the designer Patchwork Posse shared on the Ribbon Retreat Blog.
This is a lovely little Clutch Bag that also happens to be easy to make. Make one for yourself or why not make one for family or friends. We love the way scraps of ribbon are used to make a pretty patchwork design. Got no ribbons? Use some of your pretty fabric scraps instead.
What’s needed to make a Ribbon Clutch Bag:
- Fabric – Eight 3″ by 6″ for the sides which are 6″ by 6″ square. You’ll also need one 6″ by 6″ behind ribbon and three 6″ by 6″ for the backside and lining,
- Ribbon – various sizes at least 6″ long,
- A swivel clip,
- One zipper,
- optional – fusible web to glue down the ribbons,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
