Pleated Pouch clutch bag FREE sewing pattern
Here we have found you a great Pleated Pouch free sewing pattern from a great designer – Christie from Lemon Squeezy Home. This is an oldie but goodie to sew a pretty pleated clutch bag.
We all love a small zipper bag, and this one is no exception. With some pretty piping and the interesting pleats, you could make this from a simple cotton fabric as a cosmetics bag or add something a little smarter, perhaps in a special fabric for a smart evening clutch bag.
The way the pleats are folded really sets this one apart. It’s perfect for an every day small clutch to take out with you, or for a small pretty zipper storage bag. For the evening, we’re thinking a nice brocade, a simple satin or something sumptuous in silks!
What you will need to make a Pleated Pouch:-
- Fabric for outer,
- Fabric for lining and band,
- 20” piping, cut into two 10” pieces,
- One 9” zipper,
- Interfacing,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
