Patchwork Slouch Bag + Matching Zipper Pouch FREE sewing pattern (with video)
This is the Patchwork Slouch Bag With Matching Zipper Pouch FREE sewing pattern from the designer Yoan Sewing Studio.
This is one of those great sewing projects where you get to use those jelly roll strips.
The designer names her Patchwork Slouch Bag – The Jelly Glee Tote Bag. This is a charming Slouch Tote Bag that has quite a wide base, and hence ends up looking quite bucket-ish.
To make the most of the patchwork fabric, the designer has also included a cute matching zipper pouch that is perfect to put your cellphone, case, cards, etc. This is like getting two patterns for the price of one, but as the pattern is FREE then you can’t get better than that.

What’s needed to make the Patchwork Slouch Bag + Matching Zipper Pouch:-
- Four Jelly roll strips (2 1/2″ strips),
- 3/4 yard of main fabric,
- Fusible woven interfacing (the designer used Pellon shape flex 101),
- Fusible Fleece (the designer used thermolam Pellon TP971F),
- One set of magnetic snap,
- One nylon zipper (at least 7″) for the zipper pocket,
- One nylon zipper (at least 9″) for the pouch,
- Basic sewing notions.
