If you are a bagmaker that likes a little bling, this bag is the most hardware intensive pattern the designer has written. Why? This comes with two straps to be able to wear this bag four different ways. That requires a little extra hardware to make the magic happen.

The Parrano Convertible Bag is packed with unique features and techniques; the designer guarantees that you will learn something new while assembling this bag!

Features include a “Honey” pocket on the back panel to hide your convertible strap or a mobile phone, a hidden zipper pocket on the front, two types of device sleeves to choose from, a new style of beverage loop to keep your favorite drinks on hand and a new zipper overlay/keyminder combo that the designer hasn’t seen before. This will be a signature feature in upcoming KMGhandmade patterns that call for a zipper pocket and keyminder and once you learn the technique for beverage loops, you will be adding it to all your favorite patterns.

Wow, that’s a lot of features and versatility brought together into a single project. Love it!

This pattern is suitable for either domestic or industrial machines, and all types of fabrics. You just need to be mindful of what your machine can handle and keep any interfacing out of the seam allowances. It is closed with a binding finish for a smooth lining however, if you prefer it can be birthed just like the Oasis Backpack pattern because it is a similar shape.

There is a video tutorial available for this pattern if you prefer visual instruction. Michelle Graham from mgrahamsews walks you through every step in a sew-along style format in the order the pattern is written. If you would like to skip ahead you can but you might miss an important tip! If you follow along with her, you can complete this bag in about 4½ hours. You will still need to purchase the pattern here to get measurements, etc. as she will never refer to them in the videos.
