Ocean Tide Shoulder Bag sewing pattern
The Ocean Tide Shoulder Bag is a large and roomy casual bag, that comes in two different sizes in the same pattern. This easy to sew bag with retro styling, makes a great purse to carry for the weekend.
This is a carefree and vintage-inspired casual bag! It reminds us of the 1970s and has a super groovy shape.
It’s designed to be constructed with a leather shoulder strap but the designer has included directions to make a fabric strap too. You can also add an optional zipper pocket and a magnetic snap.
The designer recommends that you use various fabrics as follows – pliable canvas, pliable vinyl/faux leather for the exterior, quilting cotton or pliable canvas for the lining. Vinyl, cork or canvas for the contrast unless using leather strapping.

The Ocean Tide Shoulder Bag comes in two sizes:-
– Low Tide is the smaller size and measures approximately 17¾” wide by 18½” high by 2″ deep.
– High Tide is the larger size and measures approximately 22″ wide by 23¼″ high by 2″ deep.
