Little Clover Zipper Pouch FREE pattern
|UPDATE – this pattern was offered for free on BluPrint. When the new Craftsy took over they decided not to offer the sewing pattern library, and we’ve not been able to find this one available anywhere else. We hate it when that happens, but things on other sites are outside of our control. As an alternative, we recommend this pattern.
The Little Clover Pouch is perfect for the beginner sewer. It’s a simple project that comes with a FREE pattern.
This zipper pouch can be made to hold all kinds of things in life, including storing sewing notions and other small accessories. Ideal for small cosmetics, pills and medical supplies, a mini first aid kit for the car, or a little bag for your kids special treasures. It’s so cute, you’ll want to sew it over and over and use them for everything!
The finished size of each pouch is approximately 3.25 inches long by 2.5 inches high by 2.5 inches wide.
What you will need to make the Little Clover Pouch:-
- 10-inch square for exterior fabric – pick your favorite quilting cottons,
- 10-inch square for contrast exterior fabric,
- 10-inch square for lining fabric,
- 10-inch square for binding fabric (optional),
- 10-inch square fusible fleece,
- Cotton Webbing: size 1-inch by length 3-inch,
- One 6-inch zipper,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- Sewing machine.
With all those 10 inch squares needed, why not grab yourself a ‘layer cake’ which is a pack of coordinating and ready cut 10 inch squares. Some pretty ones here – layer cakes of quilting cottons.
