Elf Christmas Stockings sewing pattern (4 different designs + video)
Here’s the Elf Christmas Stockings pdf patterns that include four different designs – Santa’s boot design (the traditional Christmas Stocking shape), Elf design with the curled up toes, Elf pants design with two smaller stockings, and Puppy or Kitty paw print design (ideal for all of us who like to give our furry friends Christmas presents too).
The Elf Christmas Stockings comes with step-by-step written instructions as well as a video tutorial.
Sizing info:
- Santa Stocking – 10″ (27 cm) by 16″ (42 cm).
- Paw Stocking – 7.5″ (20 cm) by 12″ (31 cm).
- Elf Stocking – 10″ (26 cm) by 15″ (40 cm).
- Elf Pants Stocking – 14″ (36 cm) by 17″ (44 cm).

The designer has produced a 10-minute YouTube video tutorial that you can watch below. The construction method is the same for each of the designs.
Supplies and materials needed:
You will need 1/4 yard of both outer and lining fabric. If you want to make a quilted version of the stocking then you will need to add wadding, batting, or fleece.
Having access to an embroidery machine would be awesome, but names can also be hand embroidered to add extra personalization, or even drawn on using colorful fabric markers.
