Easy to make wallet FREE sewing tutorial

Not just a wallet today but a coordinating checkbook cover too if you like. In this free pattern from BHG, you’ll learn how to make this tri-fold wallet complete with a zipper pocket, card slots, and space for your notes. You could also add a removable strap and turn this into a wristlet purse to carry just your essentials on a night out.
When you’ve made the wallet, there are also instructions on how to make a simple matching checkbook cover too.
To make the wallet, you will need:-
- Four 18″ by 22″ pieces (fat quarters) in assorted prints,
- 1/4 of a yard of heavyweight fusible interfacing,
- 1/4 of a yard of lightweight fusible web,
- 1/4 of a yard of heavyweight interfacing,
- One 9″ long zipper,
- A magnetic snap closure,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
