This Crossbody Sling bag has been designed to be both convenient and easy to carry especially when you have planned a day out!
And as long as you have the basic sewing skills of how to sew a zipper and how to sew curves and corners then this sewing project is simple to sew.
Sizing info:
When you have finished making your very own DIY Crossbody Sling Bag it will measure approximately 7½” (19 cm) wide by 9½” (24 cm) high by 2″ (5 cm).

Seam allowances of ⅜” were used unless otherwise stated.
What’s needed to make a Crossbody Sling Bag:
- An outer layer of quilting cotton,
- A lining of quilting cotton,
- One 11⅞” (30 cm) zipper,
- 1¼” (3 cm) wide webbing strap 47½” (120 cm),
- 1¼” (3 cm) wide rectangle ring and triglides slide,
- 1⅝” (4 cm) wide bias tape 70¾” (180 cm),
- Magnetic buttons,
- Fusible fleece (It’s similar to Pellon 987F or Vilene H630),
- Mid-weight woven fusible interfacing (Pellon SF-101 Shape Flex or Vilene G700),
- Basic sewing suppiles,
- A sewing machine.
