You can never go wrong with a Tote Bag, it meets so many of your needs. And this one is a Cross Body Tote Bag with a FREE pattern and tutorial. This simple tote bag looks just a little bit ‘extra’ because of the pretty ruffle and fabric flower. But why stick with one? If you like the look, add lots of ruffles or lots of flowers. It’s a very simple project for a beginner sewer and if you have never made a felt flower before then this is the perfect tutorial for you.
What you will need to make the Cross Body Tote Bag:-
- 1 yard of quilting cotton for the main fabric,
- 1 yard of quilting cotton for the inner fabric,
- 1/4 yard of quilting cotton for the accent fabric,
- 1 yard of fusible fleece interfacing,
- A tiny piece of felt (optional-for flower),
- Hot glue (optional-for flower),
- Basic sewing supplies,
- Sewing machine.
