This designer has made an absolutely fabulous Cargo Duffle Bag. Doesn't it look fantastic? And the designer has very kindly made it as a free pattern. This designer has made an absolutely fabulous Cargo Duffle Bag. Doesn’t it look fantastic? And the designer has very kindly made it as a free pattern via the Robert Kaufman website.

We think it is one of the nicest overnight bags or carry on bags that we have ever shown you here. It’s the perfect size to carry just enough without the bag being too big and bulky, or too heavy. Might be worth planning a weekend away just so you can use your new cargo bag you are going to sew!

It’s a great size and has been made with those cute front pockets. Ideal to slip in a ticket or boarding pass, or your phone, or a city map.

The designer used a 26″ coverall zipper, which is an excellent idea as they zip from both ends and she also used snaps to close the pockets. You could pick velcro, magnetic snaps or twist locks too.
