We have something very different for you today. This is the Best Friend Pet Carrier pdf sewing pattern from the designer Sew Sweetness and shared throught the Annie’s Craft Store website.
It’s a bag, but this time instead of carrying your wallet, or your laptop, or your picnic…you’re carrying your pet! We just fell in love this this right away. What a fantastic idea to create something truly unique. If your pet travels with you often, then you can customize this with lovely fabrics, or with the perfect materials for your best furry friend. Experienced sewers may even be able to change the size to suit their pet as needed, or add in additional features like a pocket for a water bottle or some snacks.
This pet carrier holds approximately an 18 pounds (or less) pet inside. Ideal for a small dog, a cat, a guinea pig, a rabbit etc.
It features a zipper at each end of the bag as well as a top zipper, also secured with hook and loop (Velcro) closure. Pet-safe mesh on the front and back make the bag breathable for your pet, and the bag also features front and back handles as well as a removable adjustable strap.
This pattern also includes a removable fleece or minky bed for your pet’s comfort!
The pdf pattern includes fourteen pages of sewing instructions, complete with forty six step-by-step color photos.
