The Anna Tote Bag is a simple and fast sew. It’s a great bag for confident beginners looking to expand their sewing skills and sew their first purse, and for the more intermediate sewer it’s easily customizable to add your own style and options.
It has great style, a roomy inside, a beautiful welt pocket in the front (don’t worry, it’s not that difficult to sew) and a zipper pocket on the inside.

When you have finished making the Anna Tote Bag it will measure approximately 17″ wide by 11″ tall by 8″ deep.
What you will need to make the Anna Tote Bag
- ½ yard of 44″ duck cloth/canvas
- ½ yard of 44′ accent duck cloth/canvas
- ¾ yard of 44″ quilting weight cotton
- 2¼ yards of woven interfacing (Pellon SF101)
- 1-yard of lightweight interfacing (Pellon)
- One 7″ zipper
- One magnetic snap
- Basic sewing supplies
- A sewing machine.
