The designer of these great projects suggests that for the exterior you use heavy cotton canvas, sturdy cotton/linen blends, and/or upholstery fabrics. For the interior, she recommends you use cotton or poly blend canvas or twill. And for the stabilizer you should use medium to heavy-weight stabilizer (NOT iron-on).
With regards to the pattern the designer advises that it includes a cutting diagram and sizing info for most of the pattern pieces as they are square or rectangular and can be cut with a ruler and rotary cutter.
