As the name implies this is a Two Pocket Wallet. It’s a simple project to work on, doesn’t take too long to sew, is scrap-friendly, and is aimed at beginner sewists.
These small wallets are super quick to make and only need very few supplies. You can use large fabric scraps or fat quarters, whichever you have available. This is an ideal sew to sell project or perfect stocking stuffer to sew for your girl friends. It can hold a small gift or gift card.
Skill level:
The designer rates her project as suitable as a beginner sewing pattern. She says you should have completed a few projects successfully using a sewing pattern. If you have a little sewing experience then this project is a good place to start if you are fairly new to sewing.

When you have finished making your very own Two Pocket Wallet it will measure approximately 4.75″ (12 cm) wide by 3.5″ (9 cm) high.
What’s needed to make a Two Pocket Wallet:
- 1/4 yard of exterior fabric (FQ ok),
- 1/4 yard of lining fabric (FQ ok),
- 1/4 yard of fusible woven interfacing (Pellon SF101),
- 1/4 yard of fusible fleece (Pellon 987F),
- Two snaps – size 16 – 24 cap snaps,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
