Tulip Tote Bag free pattern
|This is a downloadable pattern for a basic tote bag where the pattern is free. Or should we say free and easy. This simple tote bag is the ideal pattern for a beginner sewer, or works as the perfect base pattern for a more experienced sewer to add their own personal touch for a custom tote bag.
It’s called the Tulip Tote Bag and it has been embellished with a little simple appliqué and embroidery, which is ideal to add a little extra something special when using a plain fabric. You can change up the look by working with different colors of thread and by adding your own hand stitching.
Go to town and look for some embroidery or applique designs online. I’ll be making a tote this weekend with a bag smiley cat face and embroidering on some silver whiskers. It’s nice to try a little something new from time to time.
The designer says that this tote is simple to whip up in an afternoon and so inexpensive to make, you’ll want to make more.
