Here’s a cute curvy purse to sew that’s small in stature but big on style. It’s sure to become your go-to purse for casual days and evenings out.
The Halcyon Handbag is curvy, roomy, and full of pockets. What more could you need in a new purse? It includes instructions for both a shorter shoulder strap and a crossbody strap. There is a full-width pocket on the front under the lovely shaped flap which is secured with a magnetic snap.
The zipper closure on top reveals a spacious interior with a full-width pocket and a zipper pocket in the lining.

When you have finished making your very own Halcyon Handbag it will measure approximately 11″ (28 cm) by 6½” (16.5 cm) by 4″ (10 cm).

This bag is for advanced beginner sewers, who are confident with zippers and curves. It’s an easy-to-follow pattern with detailed instructions and lots of pictures. Measurements are in both inches and cm.
