Sweetheart Saddlebag Purse sewing pattern (with videos)
This saddlebag purse makes a great everyday bag for when you don’t need to bring the kitchen sink with you. Expanding pockets inside and out make for plenty of room to keep organized without carrying a huge bag.
The sweetheart saddlebag is a gorgeously curvy bag like no other. With pleated pockets inside and out it has plenty of extra room. The flap can be customized any which way you like to make yours truly unique. Make it in the same color as the body of the bag, use a pretty print, try a contrasting solid, or add bands of contrasting fabric like the example below.
Same with the front pleated pocket. Use the same or a contrasting fabric to mix and match your look. Everything is all secured with a sturdy press lock closure.

When you have finished making your own Sweetheart Saddlebag Purse it will measure approximately 12″ (30 cm) by 9″ (23 cm) by 4″ (10 cm).

This is an easy-to-follow pattern with detailed instructions and lots of pictures. Measurements are in both inches and cm. There is one file that includes instructions with images, a cutting chart, and pattern pieces.
