This preschool-sized backpack is designed obviously for little ones so it’s just like a bigger backpack but in miniature. As the designer says it’s perfect for 3-6 year olds who want to be like the big kids.
This Preschool Backpack has adjustable shoulder straps, easy to use Velcro closures and a fully lined but lightweight construction.

The designer rates this Preschool Backpack on a difficulty level as easy and therefore this sewing project is suitable for beginner sewers. It’s described as a great pattern for those new to sewing since there are no zippers or other difficult steps. The average time it should take to sew is 1-2 hours.
Sizing info:
The measurements inside the backpack are 12” high by 10” wide by 3½” deep which is big enough to hold lots of your little ones things. The front pocket is big enough that it holds 8-12 crayons while the two smaller pockets behind are there for those last minute must-haves.
