|The Martini Crossover Purse sewing pattern has everything you need in a smart purse you can use every day, including sturdy handles, an adjustable strap, and all the pockets you will ever need. There’s a video tutorial included too.

Fabric requirements:
- 1 1/2 yard of exterior fabric (suggested fabrics: vinyl, cork, quilt cotton, home décor),
- 1/4 yard of accent/print fabric for exterior slip pocket (recommended fabrics: quilt cotton, home decor),
- 1/2 yard of lining fabric (suggested fabrics: quilt cotton or waterproof canvas).
Interfacing/stabilizer:
If using vinyl along with quilting cotton:
- 1 1/4 yards of lightweight woven fusible interfacing such as Pellon ShapeFlex SF101 or fusible fleece, and,
- 1/2 yard of Pellon Flex Foam Stabilizer FF78F1 or Decovil Light or fusible fleece (use what you have on hand or prefer working with),
- Approximately 4.5″ x 12″ piece of Decovil Heavy 526 for the base of the bag. This isn’t required but does give the base of the bag stability.
If using all quilting cotton:
- 2 3/4 yards woven interfacing such as Pellon ShapeFlex SF101, and,
- 1/2 yard of Pellon Flex Foam Stabilizer FF78F1 or Decovil Light or fusible fleece (use what you have on hand or prefer working with),
- Approximately 4.5″ x 12″ piece of Decovil Heavy 526 for the base of the bag. This isn’t required but does give the bottom of the bag stability.
- Two 1″ D-rings or O-rings,
- Two 1″ swivel clasps,
- One 1″ strap slider,
- Two 10″ #3 or #5 Zippers or longer (if using zipper tape measure 8″ of tape and cut),
- One 12″ #5 Zipper or longer (if using zipper tape measure 12″ of tape and cut),
- Four to six purse feet – optional,
- Two 1″ strap ends – optional,
- Four to eight rivets – 8 mm or 9 mm – optional.
