The Lotta Tote Bag is best made using bold and contrasting fabrics, and by using the metal cut-out handles, this really completes the stylish look.
The pdf pattern comes with full step-by-step instructions, with plenty of colour pictures and a full set of ready-to-print pattern pieces.
The finished bag measures approximately 14” by 13” by 2.5”.
What you will need to make the Lotta Tote Bag
The yardage is based on 112cm (44”) fabric width and 90cm (35.5”) stabiliser width. Also note that if you use 20” wide interfacing and fleece, such as Pellon, you’ll need double the amount stated below.
- x4 coordinating quilting cotton prints, each measuring 50cm x 55cm (20” x 22”)
- 1m (1.25 yard) of medium-weight woven fusible interfacing
- 1/2m (5/8 yard) of medium-loft fusible fleece
- A pair of 9cm (3.5”) oval cut-out metal handles and strong textile glue
- Basic sewing supplies
- Sewing machine.
