Learn how to sew a beautiful lined tote bag with outer pockets on both the front and back with this outstanding FREE video tutorial.
You can use up to five different fabrics on this Tote Bag if you really want it to stand out. And to really make the colors stand out the tutorial shows you how to add piping at the top edges.
To give the Tote Bag some structure you should add a double-sided fusible stabilizer or you can use a single sided fusible stabilizer if you prefer.
Materials needed to make the Tote Bag
- Quilting cotton fabrics of your choice,
- Double or single-sided fusible stabilizer,
- A Fiskars 45mm Contour Rotary Cutter,
- Dritz Cutting Mat,
- Omnigrid Rulers,
- Wonder Clips,
- Sewing machine,
- Basic sewing supplies.
