Inspiration for this design came from a casual wander around department stores where the designer admired the large roomy bags for sale, particularly the folded design of corner which makes the base of the bag. Here is her version of the large roomy bag with a recessed zipper closure.

What you will need to make the Large Zippered Tote Bag:-
- Three assorted fabrics and prints of your choice,
- Piping,
- Fabric to cover piping,
- Lining fabric,
- Contrasting fabric for the recessed zipper,
- Fusible fleece,
- Heavyweight iron-on interfacing,
- A magnetic snap,
- A 16″ zipper for the recessed zipper closure to bag,
- A 10″ zipper for the internal pocket,
- Bag handle webbing,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- Sewing machine.
