Kindle/Tablet Cover sewing pattern

This is a sewing pattern for a Kindle/Tablet Cover from the awesome designer Spencer Ogg Sewing Patterns.

This cover is quite adaptable and comes with size options for a whole host of iPad, tablet, kindle, e-reader and mini tablet size versions. We love how it comes with a removable strap so it’s easier to carry when you are out and about.

It’s also a great stash-buster project!

The designer has included a separate pocket at the front to keep your headphones or charging lead handy. And at the bottom, she has added an ingenious inlet for a headphone jack or charging cord. That way your device can be charged whilst still in its case.

Amazingly it also makes a really cute bag to carry even if you don’t intend to use it for your tech items. The designer has even been using hers when she walks her dog, however, instead of a cable sticking out of the bottom, the designer has dog poop bags sticking out. Genius! Her bag became super popular as everyone kept stopping her and asking her where she got it from.

Skill level:
It’s an easy pattern to sew so it’s ideal for beginner sewers. And it comes with full instructions to make either a wrist strap, cross-body, or neck strap, so you’ve got plenty of options there.

And to protect your device from those unfortunate knocks the cover is fully lined with a little wadding. Perfect.
