How to make a double zipper crossbody bag free pattern
|
A big thank you to Diana from Sew Very Crafty for providing us all with this free step-by-step tutorial on how to sew a Double Zipper Cross Body Bag.
The designer says – it’s a bit more difficult because of the two zippers but it is still a fairly simple project to make. It is the perfect bag to take when hanging out on the weekends. You can fit everything you need into it but it is lightweight. Don’t be intimidated by the zippers because they are really not that difficult to install. Just take your time and you will be amazed at how easy they are.
You can use home decorator weight fabric for your bag or you can use regular quilting cotton. The woven SF101 ShapeFlex interfacing is recommended for this bag. Try canvas or denim for a casual and hardwearing bag.
