French Market Tote Bag FREE Tutorial
|This is a French Market Tote Bag FREE Tutorial from the designer A Bright Corner.
She says that when she makes tote bags she loves to choose a complementary liner fabric. However, with most tote bag patterns you don’t get to appreciate the liner. She designed this bag so that a strip of the liner peeks out at the top. What a great idea! Now your lining fabric can become a part of the design and not be a secret known only to you!
So all you have to do now is to choose two of your favorite prints for this bag because with this bag you’ll get to appreciate both!
What’s needed to make a French Market Tote Bag:
- ⅓ yard of exterior fabric,
- ¾ yard for the lining fabric, top accent, and handles,
- An 18″ by 45″ piece of interfacing (for this bag the designer used Pellon 809, pick yours depending on your fabric),
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
