Elna Tote Purse – free sewing pattern

This purse is so stylish and it's a free sewing pattern too. There are only written instructions but I'm confident I can do it!

We love the style and shape of this bag and the imaginative way the fabrics are combined to give it that dynamic feel. The shape tucks nicely under your arm when you carry this bag over your shoulder.

However, this bag from the Elna website only has written instructions, and no photos, so it’s best suited to those who already have some bag sewing experience and are familiar with the order and method of bag construction. We’ve not tried to make this bag ourselves, but the written instructions seem thorough so we don’t think you’ll have trouble if you’d like to give this one a try.

If you do sew it, please come back and let us know how you get on, and share some photos. We’d love to add them to the article, link back to you or share them on the Facebook page.
