Here are a FREE tutorial and a FREE pdf pattern showing you how to make a little purse featuring a lace zip – The Easy Lace Zip Purse.

Lace zips are an awesome idea and they create a real feature on your purse. Even better, if you are one of those sewers who really struggle with normal zippers, then you’ll find sewing on a lace zipper much easier. 

The outer, lining and interfacing are all cut from the same pattern piece. The flat bottom is achieved by sewing boxed corners and the zipper is sewn on last.

What you will need to make the Easy Lace Zip Purse:-

• Fabric for the outer and the lining. A fat 8th of each is big enough,
• Sew in interfacing,
• One 6″ (15 cm) lace zip,
• Basic sewing supplies and a sewing machine.
