Dalila Convertible Backpack sewing pattern

Here’s an absolutely fantastic convertible backpack pattern that works for cotton or canvas fabrics, or even vinyl. And the straps easily move to convert your backpack into crossbody or shoulder bag.

The Dalila Convertible Backpack is a great looking medium size backpack. It has a classical shape with accents that makes it so fashionable and stylish. The design allows you to use it as a backpack or crossbody, which makes it a super versatile and cool daily bag. The adjustable straps snap on and off at various points around the bag to convert the backpack to a crossbody or shoulder bag. There’s a top carrying handle too.

If you want to use quilting cotton or canvas as your fabric then that is a great choice, and it will work perfectly. However, the designer in her example used vinyl/faux leather for the entire bag, but it requires a sewing machine that can handle multiple layers if you chose to use vinyl.
