The Citron Purse is a perfectly sized mini zippered pouch that is incredibly versatile. This charmingly compact little pouch is fun to sew and even more fun to stuff! It can be quickly assembled and makes an awesome gift any time of the year.

The Citron Purse is available in two shapes: Boxy and Curvy. There is also a bundle offer which includes both the Boxy and Curvy Citron Purse patterns. Each one of the three versions is available in the SMB store separately.

The designer has provided instructions to make the Citron Purse in two different styles for each shape, as follows:-

  • Style 1: Single zippered purse with one large compartment; and
  • Style 2: Double zippered purse with one large and one small compartment.

These Citron Purses have the following great features:-

  • One or two zippered compartments based on style.
  • Side loops for ease in handling the purse.
  • Scrap friendly: Uses minimal fabric and interfacing.
  • Compact mini portable wallet.

Sizing info:
When you have finished making these Citron Purses they will measure approximately:-

  • Boxy – 4” long by 2.75” wide by 1.75” depth.
  • Curvy – 5” long by 2.75” wide by 1.75” depth.

Skill level:
The designer says that her projects are suitable for a confident beginner sewer who has basic sewing skills and is familiar with sewing patterns. Also, the sewer must be able to sew curved seams and be able to install a zipper.

What you will need to make a Citron Purse:-

Fabric measurements are approximate and don’t account for directional or fussy cutting.

The pattern includes eighteen pages of concise step-by-step instructions with colour photographs to help you through each step. The pattern also comprises printable pattern pieces. All pattern pieces include a seam allowance.
