This is the Cate’s Tote Bag digital pattern. When the designer designed the Cate’s Tote Bag it was because style is what this small tote is all about.
A boxy outside pocket, which is velcro closed, was added to keeps your keys or phone handy, while the inside compartment has a simple slip pocket to help keep things organized.
As an option, you could add a magnetic snap to keep the top of the bag closed so everything is safe and sound.
Sizing info:
When you have finished making the Cate’s Tote Bag it will measure approximately 15½” (39cm) wide by 10½” (26½cm) tall.
What you will need to make Cate’s Tote Bag
- ½ yard of fabric for the exterior.
- ¾ yard of fabric for the lining.
- ¼ yard of fabric for the strap.
- A fat quarter of fabric for the pocket.
- A piece of fusible fleece 20″ by 27″.
- A piece of fusible interfacing 12″ by 20″.
- A piece of Velcro 1½” by ¾”.
- A magnetic purse snap (optional).
- Basic sewing supplies.
- A sewing machine.
