Boy's Wallet FREE sewing tutorial

This is the Boy’s Wallet FREE sewing pattern from the designer More Like Home.

The designer made this wallet as a stocking stuffer for her own boys and it’s already one of her favorite projects. The boys loved having a wallet like their daddy’s, and when they saved up enough birthday money for a new lego set they were so excited to put it in their wallet and head to the store.

These Boy’s Wallets are cute as can be, and you can make them in any fabric your kids like!

Although this project is called a Boy’s Wallet it really is great for any kid and a girl would love it just as much. You can change the fabric to suit anyone. Pick a favorite cartoon or movie fabric to really personalise it to the recipient.

The wallet has kid-friendly features, like a zipper coin pocket and a velcro closure to keep everything secure.

What you will need to make your own Boy’s Wallet:

  • ¼ yard of fabric for the main body,
  • ¼ yard of accent fabric,
  • ¼ yard of medium weight, iron-on interfacing,
  • One zipper (any size, you’ll be cutting it down anyway),
  • One small piece of velcro,
  • Basic sewing supplies,
  • A sewing machine.
