Here’s a great sewing pattern for a versatile bag named The Ava Rose Tote.
The designer has made this medium-sized tote so that it can be used as an occasional carry all or everyday bag. If you wish you can make Ava Rose to be reversible and you can choose just one fabric to make the bag or to add your own individual style you can add another contrasting fabric.
To make this bag you will need to be at least an advanced beginner sewer. The Ava Rose Tote Bag when finished measures approximately 16” wide by 11” tall by 3” deep.
What you will need to make the Ava Rose Tote Bag:-
- 1-yard of fabric for the exterior. When you are making the exterior from two fabrics you will need ¾ yard of one fabric for
the body & straps and ¼ yard of the other fabric for the sides/bottom. - 2/3 yard of fabric for the lining
- 1-yard of 44” wide heavy-weight fusible interfacing
- Sew-in interfacing (optional)
- Basic sewing supplies
- Sewing machine.
