This super simple fabric basket with handles can be used for anything, but the designer made it to store some of her ever-growing fat quarter collection. The width fits folded fat quarters perfectly!
You can now get some fun and bright novelty fabrics and help your kids keep their toys organised, or make some in a pretty nursery fabric and fill it with new mom essentials and baby supplies for a baby shower gift.
The designer has mentioned that basic sewing skills are necessary to complete her project. You will need to be able to sew various size seam allowances and know how to top stitch.
When you have finished making the 1-hour basket it will measure approximately 10″ long by 6″ wide by 7″ high.
What you will need to make the 1-hour basket:
- 1/2 yard of quilting fabric for the exterior,
- One fat quarter for the interior,
- Interfacing,
- Basic sewing supplies,
- A sewing machine.
